At the international competition of research projects in mathematics and mechanics named after U. Dzholdasbekov, which was held in Almaty on the basis of Al-Farabi University, Zhanaiym Salimzhankyzy received third place, and Dayana Khegay was awarded with a diploma. 

150 students from Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and all regions of Kazakhstan took part in the competition. Students presented 112 projects in the sections “Mathematics”, “Applied Mathematics”, “Mechanics”, and “Mathematical Methods in Economics”. Zhanaiym presented a project for the efficient placement of small wells for pumping groundwater in oil fields. Dayana developed a system of qualitative-quantitative voting based on blockchain technology. Teacher-mentors Saken Suleimenov, Sandigul Suleimenova and Makpal Serikbol prepared the students for the competition.
