The teachers of school-lyceum No. 62 named after Zh. Abdirashev of the Aral region successfully completed their internship at the Intellectual School of Kyzylorda.

 During the period, teachers attended demo lessons in natural science-mathematical and language subjects, as well as were acquainted with modern teaching methods, with lesson planning features and criteria-based assessment. Methodological assistance was also provided in the management of the educational process, in organizing effective work of library and providing psychological services at the school.

These training sessions were full of useful information. Teachers of the Intellectual School accurately demonstrated the usage of various teaching methods to involve students into the learning process and motivate them in learning. At this point, it is important to note that co-planning is well established at the school, – said Zhanna Narikeeva, a teacher from Aral.

 Additionally, the participants of the training got the opportunity to get acquainted with the peculiarities of educational work in the NIS network. At the masterclasses, teachers-curators of the intellectual school presented the goals and objectives to implement such projects as “Poets of the Great Steppe”, “Proverbs and sayings in my life”, “Continuity of generations”, “History of 100 kuys”, “Kazakh songs ”, “100 Books”, “Parent University”, “Council of the Fathers”. At the methodological platform of the school dormitory, the participants learned innovative approaches to working with students.

 – We received a huge amount of pedagogical insights. I am sure that each of us will definitely use the acquired knowledge in our work, – shared the deputy director of the village school Zhadyra Aimaganbetova.

How to teach mathematics through football and martial arts, Mukhan Tolebaev, a teacher of gymnasium school No. 262 of the Aral region, spoke about the unique technique of preparing for the UNT at the regional forum of young teachers in Kyzylorda:

– The use of the new methodology increased the students’ interest in the subject. At the master class, I clearly showed how to combine mathematics, martial arts and football, provided all the necessary resources.

At the forum site, training sessions were organized on topical topics in education, together with the staff of the Center for Pedagogical Excellence, participants analyzed the prevention of functional illiteracy, designed the best lessons, experimented in the Insight laboratory: from experience to real actions. Young teachers shared their own life hacks for effective teaching with novice colleagues, presented applications and games for active learning, talked about their problematic cases, and argued about lesson research in a pedagogical battle.

Well-known Kazakhstanis – journalist Mayra Tolepbergen, writer Ulykbek Nurgalym and the head of the Business Start Center for Entrepreneurship of Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University Zhanarys Tubekbaev shared their formulas for success, each of their performances became a real motivation for novice teachers.

– The purpose of the forum is to improve professional competencies. To help young teachers find answers to questions about how to build positive relationships with students and apply new techniques to involve children in the lesson. I am sure that teachers today will replenish the methodological piggy bank with new technologies, and will set ambitious goals for themselves in the future,” Sofia Kamalova, director of the regional branch of the CPM, expressed hope.

Head of the Regional Department of Education Meirambek Shermagambet and Director of NIS Kyzylorda Zhanbyrzhan Bekbolatov shared with the forum participants their vision of what skills a modern teacher should have.

At creative workshops from teachers of the Intellectual School, young teachers told about their dreams in drawings, collected the Book of Values, got inspired in the pottery and felting workshop, and on the dance floor.

In the course of feedback, young teachers called the main lesson of the forum that they replenished the baggage of professional competencies.

Teachers of the Kyzylorda Intellectual School held a seminar for teachers of secondary schools in the region on the topic “Effective use of digital technologies in the educational process.”

It was attended by computer science teachers and class teachers. The first group mastered the array processing program in Lego Ev3 and learned how to program robots that can process values. At the second platform for the exchange of experience, the teachers-curators of the Intellectual School provided the participants with information on the organization of the work of the Shanyrak student community and the application of innovative methods in the educational process.

Vice principals of secondary schools in Kyzylorda attended the regular seminar to share the experience of  Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, where they could learn more about  the effective organization of  NIS work and  new projects,  especially in  upbringing of  a young generation.

Teachers, organizers, curators of the Intellectual School made an introductory presentation on some topics such as,  “Parental participation in a school life”, “Attracting students to reading”, “Acquaintance with  a  rural life ”, “The role of writing articles in Wikipedia ”. NIS teachers shared with their experience using modern methods and different teaching approaches? Also they practiced the implementation  of  projects which promote to a successful  organizing students’ free time. Generally, the training seminar was attended by 55 principals of secondary schools.  The participants appreciated features of organizing the pastoral work in  the intellectual school and they could improve their professional skills.

“The Wikipedia project encourages students to write articles, and a project “100 books which is suggested for schoolchildren” increases the interest of young people in reading literature as well as it improves their vocabulary.  “During the workshop, I learned more about new methods of organizing and conducting such projects,” said Makina Iskakova, a vice principal of pastoral work in school No. 173.

According to the scientific research, students whose parents are actively involved in school life have high self-esteem, positive thinking and greater desire to study. Thanks to established connection between school and parents, that let parents not only actively participate in school activities, but also support the development of  educational process and  they are also involved in the school management.

“Social practice“ One day at work with a parent ”- helps students to determine the choice of their future profession. It also strengthens the relationship between parents and children. It is necessary to introduce this experience to all schools”, shared Darkhan Shaitmanov, the vice principal of secondary school No. 189.

In the final part of the seminar, the participants exchanged views and expressed their intention to use this knowledge in their teaching practice.

In order to improve the teaching practice of 200 teachers from Qyzylorda secondary schools the tutorials were held in Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Qyzylorda.

Within the framework of the updated content of education, in order to implement innovations into the pedagogical activity of teachers, Nazarbayev Kyzylorda Intellectual School conducted tutorials. 200 teachers of music, art and physico-mathematical disciplines from 54 urban educational institutions attended the tutorials.

New interactive methods for conducting lessons, the availability of using  ICT to achieve mastery of school-course and other useful educational resources were presented during the demo-lessons.

Teachers in groups visited demo-lessons where they could get acquainted with the modern teaching methods and methods of conducting individual, pair and group work. In addition, trainees found answers regarding the student assessment system.

At the end, the participants discussed ways of conducting reflection to improve teaching activities, received methodological assistance from qualified specialists in effective lesson planning.
