Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Kyzylorda is the 15^th educational institution in the NIS network, and was opened on August 30, 2013.

The mission of the school is to provide quality education that contributes to the comprehensive, intellectual development of students through the application of the best national and international educational practices.

The modern school provides education according to the NIS-Programme, aimed at formation of in-depth academic knowledge, integration of subjects and development of a wide range of skills and values, combined with Kazakhstani and industry leading foreign experience. Along with English, children have the opportunity to learn French, German, Korean and Chinese as a second foreign language. For the purpose of in-depth study in individual subjects, various elective courses are offered to the students, and club activities have been organized in 45 areas.

In total, 845 students graduated from the school from 2013 to 2022. 15 of them graduated from school with “Altyn Belgi” – a gold medal, 61 are holders of a certificate of excellence. 161 graduates study at Nazarbayev University, 55 entered higher educational institutions in the USA, Germany, Italy, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Hungary and Russia, and the rest continued their studies at prestigious universities in the country. The first graduates of the school today are active citizens and contribute to the sustainable development of the country.

Students show excellent results at international, republican, regional subject Olympiads and competitions on a regular basis.

In 2017, the Intellectual School successfully passed the accreditation of the Council of International Schools (CIS) and confirmed the high quality of education.
