The X Republican art competition “Akberen” ended in Aktau, where the team of the Kyzylorda Intellectual School took two prizes.

12th grade student Nurnazar Turikpen was recognized as the winner in the Oratory category, and 11th grade student Syrsunkar Bazarbayuly took 2nd place in performing skills on a national instrument. Eleventh-grader Aya Serdala’s essay was awarded the “Daryn” diploma.

“Akberen” is one of the country’s prestigious competitions, which is held with the aim of instilling patriotism in the younger generation, developing language skills and oratory, honing poetic skills, identifying and supporting talented youth. This year the competition brought together 132 students of grades 8-11.

“The participants received a lot of impression, found new friends, got acquainted with the Caspian Sea, and returned home inspired. We wish the children enthusiasm, good luck and achievement of new victories in creativity contests,” shared the winner’s leader, teacher of Kazakh language and literature Kulzhakhan Oksikbaeva.
