The students of the Kyzylorda Intellectual School Zhuldzai Munaitbasova and Raushan Turganbay were awarded a 3rd place in the competition of innovative projects held as part of the program of the entrepreneurial center “Startup Joly” by the Korkyt Ata University.
The project developers called their work “EcoDabyl” which helps to analyze the air quality and inform users about the presence of harmful substances through a special platform.
“We have been attending free seminars on launching a startup and its implementation for a month. As a result we have improved our knowledge and skills attending master classes from successful business trainers. We were able to transform our project from just an idea into a real prototype,” the winners shared.
Overall, 135 people applied for training under the Startup Joly incubation program. Subsequently, 57 projects were selected and only 26 were presented at the Demo day exhibition. The best works of the participants received cash prizes in the amount of 500, 300, 200 thousand tenge.
