Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France in Kazakhstan Didier Canes met with students of the Kyzylorda Intellectual School and presented awards to the children who actively took part in the global campaign. 

Foreign guests were introduced to the life of the school. President of the Student Government Council Nadira Atymtay spoke about the history of NIS and the features of the educational environment. 

At the round table, Didier Canes spoke about the work done within the framework of French-Kazakh relations and shared plans for the future. 

The meeting participants discussed issues of protecting human rights and gender-based violence, spoke about the events that were held as part of the global campaign “16 days of activism against gender-based violence.” Video, drawing, essay and debate competitions were organized among the classes, which contributed to strengthening efforts against discrimination in any form, raising awareness, sharing knowledge and ideas. The best works were awarded diplomas and certificates. 

At the end of the meeting, participants received information about opportunities and grant programs for studying in France.
