The students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Kyzylorda achieved remarkable success by winning seven prizes at the creative competition “SHASHU” during the International Art Festival in Taraz.

In the multi-genre creative competition, Nurislam Tolegen secured the Grand Prix with his performance of Kurmangazy’s kui “Adai.” Alikhan Talgatov claimed 1st place for his rendition of Dauletkerey’s kui “Turkmen,” while Temirlan Amantay impressed the jury and earned 2nd place with his performance of I. Yskakov’s kui “Kurishshiler bii.” Kydyrali Zhaksybek also secured 2nd place with his performance of Kurmangazy’s kui “Balbyrauyn.”

In the traditional performance category, Syrsunkar Bazarbayuly won the Grand Prix with the song “Moldabai,” and in the vocal genre, 7th-grade student Zhantore Serikbay received 2nd place. The dance ensemble of the Samga school claimed the Grand Prix in the choreography section.

All Grand Prix and 1st place winners earned a ticket to the republican stage of the international creative festival, scheduled to take place in Astana in April of this year.
