Debate: Ban on Animal Performances in Circuses – Necessity

At the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Kyzylorda, debates were held on the topic: “This chamber believes that banning animal performances in circuses is a necessity.”

In this intellectual battle, students from NIS Alua Edigeeva, Victoria Yerchkova, Adilet Abdyzhamil, and students from Bilim-Innovation Regional Boarding School No.9 for Gifted Children, Bekzat Zhubanyshev, Ali Akimali, Omar Bayzak, presented their positions.

Both teams presented their arguments in English in defense of their opinions, responded to opponents’ questions, and proposed solutions to the problems. The debates were held at a very high level and sparked interest among the audience.

English teachers Perizat Daribay and Sultan Koldeev acted as experts. Following lively discussions, the NIS team was recognized as the winner. The “Best Speaker” award went to Victoria Yerchkova and Omar Bayzak.
